This training is Yoga Alliance Certified. Students will have the opportunity to register with Yoga Alliance after successful completion of this course. Whether you want to simply deepen your knowledge of the practice or build a solid foundation to become a confident teacher, this training is for you.

Familiarize yourself with the full spectrum of unique body structures and how that relates to yoga asana. Observe bodies with awareness of anatomy and provide your students with modifications to prevent injury. Create your own asana clinics and anatomical workshops.
Establish a deep understanding of yoga philosophy in order to share it with ease. Learn to seamlessly weave your personal interpretations of yoga text into your classes.
Learn the art of verbal adjustments. We will touch on basic physical assists. Lifetime access to physical assist videos to practice at home.
Establish and deepen your daily krya, pranayama and meditation practice followed by guided asana. With a modern approach to traditional yoga, we will explore the power of spinal awakening and skill drills to safely progress towards more advanced postures. Experience a sustainable, progressive practice that will inspire and propel.
SYMPHONY OF A SEQUENCE
Establish confidence to teach with rhythmic, clear cuing and intelligent sequencing. Learn methods and tools to sequence effectively and safely. Create your own classes and workshops. Develop your voice as you teach to your peers and collect invaluable individual feedback daily.
How does it work?
Training will be 100% live and interactive on ZOOM
– You will receive a secure code to access Live Sessions that allow us to see each other on video conference and interact with each other.
– There will be a test session before the training to begins to work out any bugs and ensure you know how to access the live classes.
-We will practice once or twice a week in a less yang and more yin way to allow the body time to recover and digest. Expect more Krya, pranayama, relaxation, meditation. The Yin days will give you the opportunity to develop your concentration and fully immerse yourself in the more subtle aspects of the practice.
FLOW + ASANA CLINIC
Classes are typically slow Flow part with verbal instructions for your alignment and safety in postures. Each class prepares for a more complex posture called a peak pose. The peak posture will be broken down in an asana clinic/demo. You will learn important elements of alignment, precautions, modifications and tips. Bring a notebook to class!
All classes and lectures will be live sessions. These sessions involve active learning. Interact with other students, ask questions and practice teach what you've learned. Keep a notebook near, grab a cup of tea and tune in from the comfort of your home.
In preparation for the final exam, you will teach three recorded classes. After sending in the videos of your classes, you will receive individualized feedback from Mathieu. There will be additional practice teaching exercises during the training.
During lectures, you will be thoroughly prepped for written quizzes. These quizzes are meant to measure your progress and check in with what needs more work.
The final exam consists of teaching a full 60-minute class. The video exam can be completed at the student's pace over a maximum period of 3 months after the end of the training. Mathieu will be available through email or messaging for individual guidance.
In order to be Yoga Alliance Certified, students must be present for all live hours and pass the final teaching exam. Mathieu will be available through email or messaging for individual guidance.
